If the only issue were voluntarily providing people with information about hospice care and the like — well, that doesn't sound controversial at all! Why would that require a 'very difficult democratic conversation'? Why would Obama say it raises 'very difficult moral issues'?"
Quite aside from what the 1000-page bill says, it's hard to figure out what Obama is talking about. He's pushing the bill, and yet he keeps saying the most disturbing things... as if he's breaking it to us gently.
